JEMS is excited to welcome Tim Swan as Chief Strategy Officer! Tim, who joined the team in December 2023, is a meetings and conventions industry veteran, having worked for some of the world’s most respected brands over his 30+ years in the business. Tim’s most recent assignment was as Vice President of Sales for SeaWorld Orlando, where, along with responsibility for all group and convention business, he was actively engaged with Visit Orlando and the Orange County Convention Center, participating in client advisory board activities, FAMs, and more promoting to the destination.

JEMS is excited to welcome our new Director of Meetings, Donna Casanave! Donna (aka Queen of Quite a Lot) has enjoyed a dynamic career in the hospitality industry, and her extensive knowledge and expertise stem from her 30+ years of experience. Having served in roles ranging from catering manager, to conference planner, sales manager, and director of sales, she truly knows the ins and outs of this business. Her most recent contributions were as a Corporate Meeting Planner for a Fortune-200 company, where she led a meeting planning team in carrying out over 400 events a year.

International Slow Pitch Softball Enters Into Five-Year Exclusive Agreement with JEMS Sports

International Slow Pitch Softball (ISPS), one of the largest and fastest-growing slow pitch softball groups globally, is proud to announce the signing of a five-year agreement with JEMS Sports as the exclusive hotel sourcing provider of the organization. The agreement ensures the organization’s teams and athletes will have access to the guaranteed best hotel room rates available for tournaments and other sporting events in the United States and worldwide. JEMS Sports’ world-class team of hospitality industry experts will work in tandem with ISPS officials to source appropriate venues and accommodations for all sporting events and select fitting venues in close proximity to each event.

A Moment with Jolene Boatright of JEMS

Jolene Boatright is a seasoned hospitality industry veteran, with over 30 years of experience in the field. After spending many years working for others, she felt a desire to start a business of her own, making use of the expertise she’d amassed over the years. And so, she started JEMS hospitality, a concierge-style hospitality management group that helps clients do everything from sourcing locations to contract negotiations and everything in between.
