Meet The Leadership Team

Jolene Boatright

President & CEO

Jolene Boatright delivers 30+ years of tenured experience and knowledge within the hotel and hospitality industry worldwide. Her entire career has been in developing, marketing, managing, and partnering with universities, communities, associations, and corporations.

Her career started with ARAMARK Corporation in 2 divisions – both the Campus Dining Division (CDD) and then into the Conference Center Division (CCD), holding several positions, with her last position being the Director of Business Development. After making the decision to move to Richmond, VA, she took a position with KSL Resort representing 4-Star, Homestead Resort, now owned and operated by Omni Hotels and Resorts. Her last position for the past 11+ years, as Global Director of Sales for the Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI). She provided Global Sales Services for 250+ Luxury Hotels worldwide and served as the extension of the hotels to many associations and corporations providing marketing, contract negotiations, and sales.

She also had responsibility for constant and clear communications to members, reviewing financial obligations, and promoting new membership. During her time at ALHI, the organization grew from 115 members to 250+ members. The formation of JEMS Hospitality Group brings together a team of experienced and tenured staff who have backgrounds in associations, corporations, technology, marketing, sponsorship, social media, an extensive background in event and meeting planning, and membership. Her degree in Accounting and background in Culinary has assisted her in success in her career.

George Boatright

Chief Financial Officer

A proven technology and financial executive, George leverages both disciplines in his role as Chief Financial Officer for JEMS Hospitality. Throughout his career, George has combined his professional experience and practical knowledge to excel in diverse business environments.

George has in-depth knowledge of a diverse array of core technology, financial and managerial functions, developed over a 35+ year career, with experience in the Publishing, Broadcast TV, Hospitality, and Financial Services industry verticals.

Tim Swan

Chief Strategy Officer

Tim is a veteran meetings and conventions industry having worked for some of the world’s most respected brands over his 30+ years in the business. He is a proven leader with experience in all aspects of group travel and has actively supported with the efforts of Visit Orlando and the Orange County Convention Center to bring convention groups to Orlando.

His career included roles as Vice President of Sales at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Orlando World Center Marriott, opening Director of Sales for Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and multiple leadership positions in Hyatt hotels across the country. His “service first” approach to business and positive attitude toward life will complement the promise from JEMS to provide our clients with best-in-class service and support.

In his free time, Tim loves to travel and spend time with his family and friends. He loves concerts, sports (especially football), biking, and photography.

Bob Hudson

Executive Vice President of Sales

Bob started his hospitality career in 1986 after completing six years in the Marine Corps. Throughout his 36 years, he has worked for Radisson, Omni, Marriott, and Hilton hotels, in various positions within Operations as well as Sales. His latest position was Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa in Richmond, VA.

Bob’s extensive knowledge in the hotel industry will bring valuable insight to sourcing, contract language, and meetings and events. Relationships with his clients are extremely important.

Bob will reside in Myrtle Beach SC where he will enjoy the beach life with family and fur children, but he will be back in Richmond and Northern Virginia frequently to say a big hello, and is only a phone, Zoom, or email away.

Jennifer Ritter

Vice President of Sales/Operations

Jennifer Ritter is passionate about hospitality, professionally and personally. With over 22 years’ tenure in the hospitality industry Jennifer has worked in customer service & operations, sales, marketing, strategic planning, and directing teams. Her areas of specialty fall in Tour & Travel, Weddings, Hotels, Meetings & Conventions, Sports, and Destination promotion.

Personally, she loves to create events with the most unexpected personal details for her loved one’s lifetime events or just throwing an impromptu BBQ for friends. Providing great experiences and bringing people together (whether professionally or personally) is what brings her joy.

Donna Casanave

Director of Meetings

Donna (aka Queen of Quite a Lot) has enjoyed a dynamic career in the hospitality industry, and her extensive knowledge and expertise stem from her 30+ years of experience. Having served in roles ranging from catering manager, to conference planner, sales manager, and director of sales, she truly knows the ins and outs of this business. Her most recent contributions were as a Corporate Meeting Planner for a Fortune-200 company, where she led a meeting planning team in carrying out over 400 events a year.

Donna’s background lends itself to her ability to provide top-notch services for planning and implementation of meetings and events, with turn-key services, including: site selection, sourcing of hotels and venues, contract negotiation, menu planning and program enhancements such as entertainment, décor, and attendee activities.

In her free time, Donna loves to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling, music, dancing, great food and beverage, and cannot live without laughter and hugs—even better when all of these occur together!

Jean Murphy

Staff Accountant

As Staff Accountant for JEMS, Jean’s background in Accounting started in 1999 with additional experience and knowledge in Human Resources and Banking. She also has Event and Meetings knowledge and is a member of Minnesota Festivals and Events and volunteers for many events in her community, her Church where she serves on the Parish Council Board.

Jean and her husband Joe run a small cattle farm in Minnesota. They have 4 daughters and 2 Grandsons, Luka and Kieran. Jean loves to work on the farm, garden, travel, and spend time with her family and friends.

Trevor Dickerson

Marketing Manager

Trevor serves as JEMS Hospitality Group’s Marketing Manager. An experienced marketing professional, Trevor has been helping clients large and small across industries improve their online presence for almost 15 years. At JEMS, he is responsible for the company’s website and event registration pages, graphic design, email marketing, and other areas.

Trevor was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, and studied Marketing at Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition to his day job, he is the Past President of the Greater Scott's Addition Association and runs online news publication RVAHub.com. He lives in the Northside of Richmond with his wife Katie, dogs, cats, and chickens. In his free time, he enjoys biking and eating out at some of Richmond’s amazing restaurants.

Stacy Bullock

Creative Director

Stacy is an experienced and dedicated professional with 20+ years of experience
coordinating, planning, and supporting daily operational functions in the
hospitality, pharmaceutical, and wealth management industries. She has a proven
track record of accurately completing research, reporting, information management, and marketing support activities within demanding time frames and is adept at developing and maintaining administrative processes that reduce redundancy, improve accuracy and efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives.

Stacy prides herself on being able to come up with new, innovative ideas for JEMS clients and is highly focused and results-oriented in supporting complex, deadline-driven operations. She can identify goals and priorities and resolve issues in the initial stages. Stacy possesses strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills. More than anything, Stacy is committed to superior customer service. Stacy was raised in the Midlothian area and is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with an AA degree in Liberal Arts. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 5-year-old son as well as her friends and family.
